Bellevue Women’s Tennis Escapes With 5-4 Win

Bellevue College women’s tennis narrowly defeated host Treasure Valley 5-4 yesterday in Ontario, OR as Haylee Irving and Joanne Sakoda led the ‘dogs by winning both singles and doubles with identical scores of 8-3 in all three matches. Irving, playing #3 singles beat  Jessica O’Dell of Treasure Valley, while Sakoda defeated Jandee Nakamura. The two teamed up for a doubles win over the Chukars’ Emily Jordan and Haliegh Taylor.

The Bulldogs have the week off from competition until April 7 when the ‘dogs travel to Lewis-Clark State for a non-league match against a four-year college.
