Women’s Golf Wins Walla Walla Tourney

After a winter filled with frozen, snow-covered conditions, the Bellevue College women’s golf team came out and played as if they were in mid-season form by winning the Walla Walla University Invitational which featured a mixture of four- and two-year colleges. Bellevue won by eight shots over Spokane.

Makenzie Milton, a sophomore, led BC and finished tied for third overall in the individual standings with rounds of 83-89. Emily Ngonevolalath was Bellevue’s next scorer with rounds of 90-85. The biggest turnaround went to Sam Gillett who improved her score from 93-81 to finish eighth overall.
