Softball Wins Two Over Pierce

Bellevue College softball continued their winning ways as the top-ranked team in the NWAC with a sweep over Pierce College by scores of 14-6 and 13-0. The ‘dogs won both games by the run limit rule. In game one, BC was up 11-0 before Pierce got on the board putting up six runs in the final two innings. Bellevue clubbed two home runs in the first inning as Megan Paoli hit a three-run shot driving in Tori McDowell and Tatum Dow before Darian Olin hit a solo shot on the very next at-bat. Paoli led BC with four RBI’s.

In game two, Dow continued her dominance in the NWAC hitting scene with five RBI’s and a 3-for-3 outing along with another two home runs. Meg Marino added two doubles and was a perfect 3-for-3 at the plate as well. Carissa McDowell, Tori McDowell, and Mak Akers all joined in on the slugfest with home runs as well.  Carissa also teamed up with Macey Sykes in the circle for the shutout.

The Bulldogs are 14-2 in league and 25-4 overall and travel to Shoreline tomorrow for a first pitch at noon at Meridian Park.
