Bulldog Women’s Tennis Downed by Whitworth

Sofia Panchuk Bellevue College women's tennis

Returning fatigued after a league match the day prior against Spokane, Bellevue College’s women’s tennis team lost 8-1 to Whitworth University today. Bright spots were #1 singles Sofia Panchuk who won Bellevue’s only point 7-5, 6-0 and Annie Luong, who ultimately lost 7-6, 6-1 in #3 singles but gave a long fight in the loss to the Pirates’ Marissa Kirk, who ironically is a former BC tennis standout now playing at the four-year university.
