Women’s Tennis Taken Down By University of Puget Sound

Bellevue College women’s tennis continued their preparation for the upcoming NWAC Championships with more competitive play against four-year competition as the Bulldogs lost 8-1 Friday to the University of Puget Sound in Tacoma in exhibition play. The lone bright spot was BC’s #1 singles Sofia Panchuk who won 6-4, 7-6 over the Loggers’ Lisa Owen in a back-and-forth match. Owen and her teammate, Nicki Bouche, would get revenge on the ‘dogs by topping Panchuk and her doubles partner Anna Sneesby 8-2.

The Bulldogs continue their non-league play with a home match at Robinswood Tennis Center this Saturday, April 27 against the Western Washington University club team at 10:00 a.m. Below are the complete results from Friday’s non-league exhibition match at UPS:
