Men’s Golf Takes Fourth at Spokane League Match

Bellevue College men’s golf finished fourth overall in their second league match in two weeks at Hangman Valley GC yesterday and today, shooting +44. The two-day affair, which started on Easter Sunday, was hosted by Spokane, which won the tourney with a score of +22.

Scott Rohlinger and Zach Dea turned in two excellent rounds, both shooting identical scores of 74-77 to finish tied for seventh overall in the individual standings. Connor Stephens shot 78-76 to finish tied for 14th overall while BC’s Jake Ellison rounded out Bellevue’s team score with rounds of 85-82; good for a two day total of +23.

The Bulldogs will get a break in league play action as they take on three other NWAC teams (Skagit Valley, Highline, SW Oregon) at the Cardinal Classic Invite, held next Sunday and Monday April 28-29 at Avalon Golf Links in Burlington.
