Bellevue College’s women’s golf team finished second at the Cardinal Classic which wrapped up today at Avalon Golf Links in Burlington. The two-day event is an invitational held annually by Skagit Valley College. The Bulldogs shot a two-day total of 537, 23 strokes behind SW Oregon, who captured the title with a score of 514. Down 11 shots after day one, the Bulldogs could not make up any ground. Emily Ngonevolalath and Makenzie Milton tied for seventh overall with scores of 32 over par. Nhi Nguyen finished eleventh overall with a two-day total of 185, shooting 89-96 over the two-day period.
Bellevue tees it up next Sunday and Monday May 5-6 at the Highline League Match which will be played at Riverbend Golf Complex in Kent.
