Bulldog Softball Clean Up With Honors

Bellevue College softball took home several honors this week as the league announced the post season awards. Earning NFCA All-American this year pitcher Rhaney Harris, shortstop Tatum Dow, and outfielder Tori McDowell. Dow was fifth overall in the NWAC in hitting with a .526 batting average. McDowell was second in the NWAC with 80 RBI’s. Harris led a deep pitching staff with 19 wins in the circle.

Harris and Carissa McDowell swept First Team All-North Region pitcher honors. Meg Marino (infield), Angel Prewitt and McDowell (outfield), and Nashoni Boyd (designated player) were also first teamers. Dow earned MVP honors for the North Region while Coach Leah Francis and her staff, comprising of Danielle Orvella, Sarah Hyatt, and Michelle Fusco, won Coaching Staff of the Year.

Macey Sykes (pitcher), Darian Olin (infield), Kiera Shipley (outfield), Maddie Paoli (catcher) were named Second Team All-North Region.
