Women’s Golf Places Fifth at NWAC Championships

Bellevue College women’s golf took fifth place at the NWAC Championships which were completed yesterday at the Home Course in DuPont, WA. The Bulldogs finished at 494 (62-over par) behind champion Columbia Basin (469 / 37-over par).

Makenzie Milton led the Bulldogs finishing fourth overall in the individual standings out of 46 golfers. The sophomore fired 80-76 over the two-day period for a 156 total and was named to the All-Tournament Team for her performance. Emily Ngonevolalath fired rounds of 84-82 for a two-day total of 166 to finish tied for 13th overall. Sam Gillett shot 84-89 to round out BC’s scoring.
