Parris Mamon new softball coach

Parris Mamon comes to Bellevue College with over twenty years of high school softball coaching experience as well as four years of club softball.

Parris started his softball coaching career in the Seattle School District.  He then moved on to Kentridge High School as the assistant coach where the team took 1st place in the 4A division at state.  At Redmond High School, the team took first in league and made it to the state playoffs three times.  They were awarded academic state champions.  His previous coaching position at Newport High School consisted of rebuilding a team to place fifth in state, the highest seed for the school’s history.  He also received coach of the year.

Parris is excited to be the head softball coach at Bellevue College and looks forward to building on the team’s traditions and leading them to reach their fullest potential and successes. His goals for the softball players include appreciating the time they spend in their softball careers and building “Life Lessons” for the future.

“We are very excited to have Parris a part of our Bulldog family. We look forward to working with Parris to help him continue having success as a coach and for our softball program to continue with the success they have had both on the field and in the classroom the past 15 years” said Bellevue College Director of Athletics Jeremy Eggers.
