Volleyball Takes Two in Centralia

Bellevue College volleyball continued their winning ways winning two matches at a neutral site, Centralia College yesterday afternoon. The Bulldogs defeated Clackamas (OR) 3-1 before sweeping another Oregon rival, Mount Hood, 3-0. In the Clackamas match, the Bulldogs dropped the opening set 25-20 before gaining control winning the next three, 25-23, 29-27, and a blowout fourth set 25-13. In the Mount Hood match, the Bulldogs gradually won with more of a comfort zone as the sets progressed, winning 27-25, 25-23, and 25-11. No individual stats were provided by Centralia staff.

Bellevue is now on a roll with a win streak of six and a 10-2 record. They will host an invitational beginning this Friday September 6 starting with their own match at 10:00 a.m. vs. Centralia. Other teams in the tourney include Oregon schools Linn-Benton, Clackamas, Blue Mountain, and Lane in addition to Washington colleges Columbia Basin, Edmonds, Green River, Shoreline, and Walla Walla.
