Bellevue Men’s Soccer Falls to Spokane

After earning their first win in a year, the Bellevue College men’s soccer team faced an NWAC powerhouse tradition, losing to visiting Spokane 5-3 yesterday at Bellevue. The visiting Sasquatch put up three goals in the first half taking a 3-1 lead into halftime. Spokane netted all three goals in the first 15:00 of the game to take the steam out of Bellevue. The ‘dogs scored twice midway through the second half in a three-minute span making it a game at 4-3 after Jaber Attalas found the back of the net on an assist by Roberto Villalvazo, but a late goal with five minutes remaining ensured the Spokane win.
