Bellevue College women’s soccer played tough until the end and ultimately lost a battle that could have gone either way, losing 1-0 as Highline’s Abby Carmel found the back of the goal with 2:00 remaining in the game. In a defense showdown between two teams who are playoff-bound on a yearly basis, Bellevue’s Jaelynn Ramsay was stellar in the box with five saves. The Bulldogs had many chances with 10 shots on goal but could not find a way to score.
The Bulldogs are 1-1 in league and 3-2 overall. They will have another tough battle against another West Region rival, Tacoma, this Saturday September 14 at 12:00 p.m.
