Bellevue College men’s soccer made huge strides today in a tough 3-1 loss to Tacoma. The Bulldogs, who are now 0-3 in league and 1-5-1 overall, played Tacoma, a team that is now 2-0 and 5-0-1 on the year, dead even until the final moments of the game when two quick goals ensured the Titan win.

After falling behind 1-0 in the first half, Bellevue’s Rodrick Muya scored 10 minutes into the second half to knot the game at 1-1. In a defensive battle in which neither team had many open shots on goal, the ‘dogs finally fell at the 86:43 mark on a goal by Tacoma’s Angel Trejo-Delgado.

The Bulldog men have a week off before hosting South Puget Sound at home next Saturday September 21 at 2:15 p.m.
