Bellevue College women’s soccer had no trouble at all yesterday afternoon, cruising to an impressive 8-0 win over Centralia. The ‘dogs put on a steady stream of pressure throughout the entire game, with four goals coming in both the first and second halves. Fatumatah Dukureh scored three goals in the first half, including the first at the 20:11 mark off an assist by Kameron Jaramillo. Malia Miller then fed Dukureh for BC’s second goal with a little over 10 minutes remaining in the first half. Miller also had an assist on Hannah Woten’s first goal in the second half. Woten also scored the final goal of the game with three minutes remaining off a feed from freshman Sophia Nicholson. In a game in which the ball stayed on Bellevue’s side, Jaelynn Ramsay recorded the shutout as only three shots were put up against her by the Trail Blazers. The Bulldogs are now 5-1 in West Region play (7-2 overall). They host Green River Saturday October 5 at 2:00 p.m.
