Women’s Golf Competes Against Four-Year Schools

Bellevue College women’s golf finished in fifth place and were the lone two-year college in the field at the St. Martin’s Invitational held at Olympia Country and Golf Club Friday and Saturday October 4-5. The Bulldogs finished at 851 in the team standings. Northwest Nazarene, an NCAA Division II school in Idaho, was the champion.

Freshman Mckenna Lamb led BC with an 87-90 over the two days. She finished tied for 10th overall in the individual standings. The women, after playing six rounds in a span of seven days with back-to-back tournaments, get a two-week break from competition to recover before their final fall match which will also count as the NWAC’s first league match of the blended fall-spring season on October 21-22 in the Grays Harbor League Match held at the same course, Olympia Country and Golf Club.
