Fisk Takes Medalist Honors at NWAC League Match

Chase Fisk

After rain canceled  his opening round of even par on Monday, sophomore Chase Fisk came out and continued his momentum taking medalist honors at the first NWAC League Match hosted by Grays Harbor College at Olympia Country and Golf Club yesterday. In what was supposed to be a two-day event, heavy rains cancelled day one on Monday as rounds were in progress. The field came out on Tuesday for a one-day tourney which Fisk won shooting a 1-under 71. Fisk carded only 2 bogeys in the round along with 3 birdies for the low round in the field. His heroics came up just short for the team though, as the Bulldog men took second overall in the team standings at 295, 7 strokes behind champion North Idaho.

Freshman Tyler Spalti led the late charge with a birdie on the 15th hole and was even par for the back nine. Spalti, Ian Mackay, and Angelo Gallevo all carded 4-over to round out Bellevue’s scoring.
