Bellevue College men’s soccer battled in an offensive spree yesterday afternoon before eventually falling 5-4 to visiting South Puget Sound in the season finale for both teams. In the first twenty minutes of the game, BC fell behind quickly 3-1 before a late goal before halftime by Masahiko Kaneko made it 3-2.

Kaneko led BC with two goals as Bellevue wraps up their season at 3-7-2 (4-9-3 overall). Although Bellevue just missed out on the playoffs, the season was a tremendous turnaround from the 0-14-1 season a year ago. The ‘dogs not only were in the win column more this year, but also competed against some of the upper-echelon teams in the NWAC, including a monumental win over Highline earlier this year.
