Addy Clabby

Natalie Amos nailed 12-of-19 shots and had 7 rebounds, 4 assists, and 6 steals to lead Bellevue to a 72-58 win over visiting South Puget Sound on day three of the Bellevue Crossover Tourney. Amos was complemented by Addy Clabby who scored 7 points, but more importantly controlled the offense for the ‘dogs with team-highs of 7 rebounds and 7 assists while not committing one turnover all night.

After a narrow 34-30 lead at halftime, the Bulldogs gradually added to the lead making it a seven point margin after three quarters. The ‘dogs would then separate themselves from any chance of a Clipper late threat by outscoring them 24-17 in the fourth quarter. Bellevue made 10-of-15 from the field in the decisive fourth quarter that ultimately sealed the win for BC.

Bellevue is now 4-3 and snaps a three-game losing skid with the win. The squad will take a break for the holidays before heading to Mount Vernon for the Skagit Holiday Tourney in Mount Vernon. BC’s first game of the three-day tourney will be December 28 vs. Green River. Tipoff is set for 1:00 p.m.
