Men’s Golf Crushes Field at Olympic Invite; Wins Tourney By 25 Strokes

Bellevue College golfers took second, third, fourth, and sixth respectively in the individual standings to accumulate a team total of 5-over par to dominate the Olympic Invitational at The Home Course earlier this week. The Bulldogs were 1-over on day two, ten shots better than runner up Skagit Valley as they coasted to the win.

Austin Duffy led the way for the ‘dogs firing rounds of 71-70 for a 3-under total of 141 for the tourney. Duffy was bested by Skagit’s Carson Linville for medalist honors however by one stroke as Linville went 5-under par on his last 7 holes to take the honor. Dallon Bennett was consistent shooting 72-72 while Jaeger Christian shot 72-73. Sophomore Tyler Spalti shot 77-74 to round out BC’s scoring.

The Bulldogs remain undefeated this year spanning back to last spring in what is shaping up to be one of BC’s top teams in program history.
