After leading 35-29 after the first half, Peninsula threw in 52 points as they shot 63% from the field in the second half. Bellevue had their chances offensively with 34 attempts in the half as compared to 27 for Peninsula, but could not get enough to fall.

The game went back and forth with several lead changes until the final minute. Peninsula cashed in on all four free throw attempts after being fouled in the final :14 to clinch the win. Maui Sze led Bellevue with 20 points while Kai Warren chipped in 18, going 4-for-8 from three-point range.

Bellevue will host Everett tomorronw night at 4:00 p.m. and will then travel to Everett on Saturday. The two teams are currently first and second in the North Region with title bragging rights on the line this weekend.
