Returner Sarah Lawrence continued her winning ways from Spring ’21 with a blistering 67 followed by a 74 to take medalist honors at the St. Martin’s Invitational at the Home Course today in DuPont. Lawrence, who was medalist on several occasions last year, survived the close competition of Western Washington University’s Megan Billeter, who shot 68-74. The one stroke win went down to the final holes as the two were tied going into the 15th hole. Billeter went bogey-double bogey while Lawrence went par-double bogey. After the rough 16th hole for the two atop the leaderboard, both parred out on 17 and 18 to seal the win for Lawrence.

Bellevue, due to lack of enough players to qualify for team scoring, was also aided by Tia Wolcott who finished T25 with a round of 83. Bryn Lawson shot 92 to close out Bellevue’s three players.
