Women’s Soccer Powers Past Tacoma

Bellevue College’s women’s soccer proved to be too much offensively, controlling the ball in the first half en route to a 3-1 win today against Tacoma. The Bulldogs jumped ahead early and were in control the entire match as super sophomore, Alexis Lamb, back for her third year at BC, scored at the 25:13 mark in the first half on an assist by Madelyn Barrett. Natalie Hawkins scored ten minutes later as the Bulldogs went into halftime up 2-0.

Twenty minutes went by in the second half before Hawkins was on the assisting end of a Paris Agana goal, putting BC up 3-0. The Titans would eventually get on the board with a little over ten minutes to go in the game, closing out the final score at 3-1.

The Bulldogs have now won two in a row to open up league play and are 2-0-1 in West Regional action and 3-3-2 overall. BC’s next match is Wednesday September 22 at Pierce. Kickoff is set for 3:00 p.m.
