Men’s Soccer Offense On Fire In Win Over South Puget Sound

Bellevue College men’s soccer got a much needed win today on the road over South Puget Sound with a 5-2 victory at the Regional Athletic Complex in Lacey, WA. Bellevue scored four goals in the first half to take control of the match. Of the four, three of them were scored in the first 20 minutes of action as Leandro Anaya led things off with a goal assisted by Angel Urbina 6 minutes into the game. Urbina would again feed an assist for BC’s second goal, but this time to Lazaro Lunaat the 18:00 mark. Bellevue then scored two late goals just before halftime on assisted shots from Urbina and Brian Chicas.

Alex Herpain scored just minutes into the second half to give Bellevue a comfortable lead of 5-1.

The Bulldogs are now 1-3-2 in West Region play (2-4-3 overall) and are currently in third place. They have two pivotal home matches this week as they host Tacoma on Wednesday October 6 at 4:15 p.m. before entertaining Pierce on Saturday October 9 at 2:15 p.m.
