Bellevue College men’s soccer could not flip the offensive momentum and control visiting Tacoma had all day as the Bulldogs lost 5-0. The first half was lopsided offensively as Tacoma got off 16 shots while BC managed only five. Tacoma did most of their damage early with all four goals coming within the first 30 minutes of the match. Bellevue managed to slow things down on Tacoma’s offensive front in the second half as the Titans could tack on only one additional goal by Kennah Roberts at the 57:01 mark.
The loss puts BC at 1-4-2 in West Region play and 2-5-3 overall. The ‘dogs still remain in playoff contention however as they lead the fourth place team South Puget Sound by 2 points in the standings. Bellevue hosts Pierce this Saturday October 9 at 2:15 p.m.
