Sarah Lawrence, the NWAC’s returning top scorer in NWAC women’s golf, fired a 72 today to win medalist honors by 18 strokes and also helped Bellevue claim the Grays Harbor Tourney title today at Grays Harbor Country Club. The tourney was the spring season opener for the NWAC teams which BC won by 18 strokes over runner-up Spokane. Lawrence had a clean card of even par 36’s on both nines en route to her 72 finish. She shot 76 yesterday in the opening round.
Tori Berger closed strong today with a 79 after a 90 on Sunday while Tia Wolcott rounded out BC’s scoring, with a strong closing round as well carding an 84 after an opening 90 yesterday.
Bellevue will host the next NWAC League Match at Bellevue GC on April 24-25.
