Women’s Soccer Wins On The Road

Bellevue College women’s soccer continued their dominating display in pre-season with a convincing 3-1 win on the road at Portland yesterday. The Bulldogs got on the board early when freshman midfielder Payton Pine scored at the 16:11 mark on a free kick. Sophomore Natalie Hawkins made it 2-0 just before halftime. Portland managed to score near the end of the first half as well to make it 2-1 at halftime.

In an evenly played second half, Daisy Morris added an insurance goal at 57:11 as the Bulldog defense shutdown Portland the rest of the way. Keeper Celia La Guardia had 8 saves in the box for the Bulldogs.
