Bednik Powers BC Soccer Over Tacoma

Bellevue sophomore Sebastian Bednik scored two goals to lead Bellevue to a 3-1 win yesterday over Tacoma. The midfielder from Mount Si HS scored 6:35 into the match on an assist by Thomas Nguyen. He put the ‘dogs up 2-0 midway through the second half on a feed by Joshua Crocker.

Jaime Arciga also scored for BC with eight minutes to go. Bellevue’s offense dominated all game with an 18-3 shot advantage including a 12-1 difference in the first half. Keeper Nicola Luongo had limited plays on him in the box for BC as Tacoma got only two shots on goal the entire match.

The Bulldogs remain undefeated on the year at 3-0-1 (2-0-1 in league) and host a pair of games this week as Whatcom comes to town on Wednesday September 14 (4:15 PM) and Skagit Valley Saturday September 17 (2:45 PM).
