Men’s Golf Win Highline Shootout

Bellevue College men’s golf got back to winning ways by taking the Highline Shootout today by 16 strokes over SW Oregon. Bellevue’s Dalton Dean was on fire shooting a five under round of 67 today on day two at Salish Cliffs GC. Dean started off going four under par for his opening six holes and closed with an eagle to end the historic round. Dean won medalist honors by two strokes, adding his 67 with an opening round 75 yesterday.

Tyler Spalti finished third overall out of the 46-man field by shooting 72-73. Ryan Knox and Kyle Yang both tied for eleventh overall and closed out BC’s team scoring with 75-76 and 73-78 respectively.

Bellevue has a week off before hitting the road again for the Columbia Basin Fall Invitational October 9-10 at Meadow Springs CC and Canyon Lakes GC in the Tri-Cities.
