Bellevue College men’s soccer tied Edmonds yesterday 1-1 in Lynnwood as the host Tritons scored late in the final minute to spoil what would be a lock in win for Bellevue. In a battle that gave both teams chances to score throughout the game, both teams got five shots on goal. Neither club could score in the first half.
BC’s Johan Gaytan finally found net on an assist by Marc Kot 20 minutes into the second half. For the next 44 minutes Bellevue appeared to be securing a win until the 90:00 mark when Edmonds scored on a goal by Brian Garcia to end the game in a tie.
Bellevue is 5-3-2 in league play and travels to Whatcom this Saturday for a 2:15 PM kickoff.
