Bulldogs Volleyball Sweep Everett

vb action

Bellevue College volleyball continued their dominance on their way to a North Region title with a convincing three set win at Everett, 25-20, 25-16, 25-16.

Bellevue’s front row was dominating and was led by Makenna Mosher and freshman Jeanice Gamez. The two had five and four block assists respectively, batting down unsuccessful Everett swings for BC points in the easy win. Kate Hansen and Marin Mackey had 20 and 18 digs in back row respectively which also helped the cause for Bellevue’s high side out percentage throughout the night, preventing any Everett rally.

Meg Perry had 10 kills to lead the offense while freshman Peytin Thompson had a hot night with 9 kills and only two errors. Taylor Pederson dished out 17 assists.

BC is now 10-1 in region play and clinched the region title tonight as an upset loss by Skagit Valley pushed the ‘dogs into solo first place, two games up on Skagit Valley, with only one match to play this Friday at Whatcom.
