Softball Outscores Highline 36-0 in Sweep

Bellevue College softball piled on 36 runs in a 21-0 and 15-0 sweep over host Highline. Kaci Imus fanned 10 while allowing only one hit in the circle in game one while also collecting four hits as a hitter as well. Imus clubbed home runs in both the first and second innings as the ‘dogs had 17 hits in the game. Things got even more explosive offensively in game two as Kelci Studioso went five-for-five with two doubles, a triple, and home run. Bellevue hammered nine home runs in the game with Imus adding two more, Katie Fodge, and Luisa Gauci all having two apiece. Kelsey Harris shutout the T-Birds in the circle allowing only three hits and striking out eight.

The Bulldogs are now 6-0 in region play (13-2 overall) and travel to Everett on Wednesday March 29 for a 4 p.m. doubleheader.
