Kaci Imus has been named the NWAC Player of the Week, sponsored by Competitive Athletics. A sophomore who pitches and hits for Bellevue, had an excellent weekend at the plate helping the Bulldogs go 2-0. She went 7-for-8 hitting .875 with four home runs, six runs scored, seven RBI and 19 Total bases with a slugging percentage of 2.375. She only recorded one out as she helped the Bulldogs defeat Highline 15-0 and 21-0. Additionally, she pitched a one-hit shutout in game one, striking out 10 batters in five innings.
“Kaci has been a constant force at the plate for us,” said head coach Parris Mamon. “She has been putting in extra work in the cages, and it paid off this weekend.”
