Bellevue College men’s golf took third place at the NWAC League Match hosted by Columbia Basin College April 16 and 17. The matches were played at Canyon Lakes GC in Kennewick and the prestigious Meadow Springs CC in Richland. Bellevue finished at 35 over par, 21 strokes shy of champion North Idaho.
While the Bulldogs were able to shave off 13 strokes from their 312 day one total, champion North Idaho could not be stopped with a second day total of 291. Dalton Dean finished two strokes shy of medalist honors shooting rounds of 75-71, taking second overall. Tyler Spalti finished sixth overall with rounds of 80-70. Jaeger Christian (79-75) and Ryan Knox (78-83) rounded out BC’s scoring.
The Bulldogs will host the NWAC golf teams this weekend at the Bellevue League Match held at West Seattle GC this Sunday and Monday April 23-24.
