
Bellevue College men’s soccer brought home a big win 1-0 at Everett, defeating the current first place team in the NWAC’s North Region.
The ‘dogs defense was amazing all game, allowing zero shots on goal as keeper Jackson Buck recorded the shutout in the box. Everett got only three shots off all day in a defensive battle between both clubs.
Bellevue’s Yoo Seung-Bum got the lone goal off an assist by Noah Baer, who was playing in front of his hometown. The Everett HS grad fed Yoo for the goal at the 32:50 mark.
The pivotal win now puts Bellevue in a tie for first place at 5-14 (7-1-4 overall). A region title is now on the line as BC enters the final stages of league play, with the top team receiving a bye in the first round of playoffs.
Bellevue plays current second place team Peninsula this Saturday Oct. 21 at 2:15 p.m. The team will honor its sophomores in the final regular season home game.
