Women’s Soccer Blanks Everett

Bellevue College women’s soccer kept their momentum towards the playoffs with a 2-0 road win at Everett. Bellevue received a pair of first half goals as Kahia Vaifoou (19:28) and Kayleigh Acree (41:55) scored solo goals before the defense took over for the rest of the game.

Bellevue’s defense led by Evee Augustine, Jolie Widaman, Giulia Menning, and Tannah Huffines dominated as Everett was only able to get three total shots off in the game and one on goal as goalkeeper Anya Gilbertson recorded the shutout.

The Bulldogs remain in third place and currently are holding of to the final playoff spot entering the final two games. BC hosts Peninsula this Saturday Oct. 21 at noon. Bellevue’s sophomores will be honored before the final home game of the year.
