Bellevue College baseball, in anticipation of their season opener less than a week away, held their Hall of Fame Ceremony and Pre-Season Dinner at the Gary F. The four inductees were Kevin Hagen and Adrian Sampson, who are Bellevue’s two highest drafted pitchers (Hagen 4th round, Sampson 5th round), and two former standouts, Kevin Dvorak and Kyle Torgerson. who have paved their way to dream careers working on the field with the Seattle Mariners.

Director of Athletics Jeremy Eggers gave a welcoming invite and gave acknowledgement of the deep history of success that the baseball program has maintained over the last 50+ years. Co-Head Coach David Olson and assistants Jordyn Perry and Dylan Vchulek gave a breakdown on the current team and a preview of what’s to come this spring.

Three of the four inductees, Dvorak, Torgerson, and Sampson attended and gave inspirational speeches along with alumni guest speakers Connor Rankin, Jordan Seiber. The two scouts who drafted Sampson, Gabe Sandy and Greg Hopkins gave video tributes, and Mitch Canham, Head Coach at Oregon State University, gave a congratulatory message to longtime friend from his prep days in Dvorak.
