Bellevue College women’s basketball lost to visiting Edmonds 70-56 in the final home game for Bellevue College and their four sophomores, Adior Juang, Kristina Blauman, Jadyn Mueller, and Jordyn Smith. Before the game, all four sophomores were honored for their contributions.
After heading into halftime tied at 30, the Bulldogs held close at 50-48 after three quarters but ran out of steam in the fourth as the Tritons outscored BC 20-8 to run away with the win. The Tritons shot almost 60% from the field and outrebounded Bellevue 11-5 to control the quarter and outcome of the game.
Adior Juang led the Bulldogs on one of her hottest days of the year as she went seven-for-11 from the field for 14 points.
Bellevue closes out the regular season Wed. Feb. 28 at Skagit Valley. The outcome has no bearing on the post-season as Bellevue has already secured the fourth spot in the North Region with a 7-6 record (11-17 overall). Tipoff for the regular season finale in Mount Vernon is set for 5 p.m.
