Bellevue’s Logan Stempniak, a redshirt transfer from the University of Alaska Fairbanks, was named NWAC North Region Freshman of the Year as voted by the coaches in the region. He was also named to the Second Team All-Region squad. Stempniak was electric at times this year and was also consistent, scoring at a 20.5 ppg clip this winter. He shot 83% from the line and almost 50 % from the field while averaging a team-high 9.6 rebounds per game.
Third year sophomore Marcus Cole was named to the All-Defensive Team. Cole led the team with 1.5 steals per game with over 40 on the season.
