
Bellevue College men’s tennis continued their dominance in NWAC league play with a 9-0 win over host Spokane and 8-1 win over Treasure Valley. In the 9-0 win, Spokane managed to win only nine sets as Bellevue won all five singles spots in straight sets. Jackson Stumpf won #1 singles while Tyler Gettmann, Colby Weller, Cole Fredricks, and Anthony Madson won two through five.
In doubles play, Stumpf and Gettmann led the way with an 8-3 win.
In the win over Treasure Valley, Stumpf dominated #1 singles winning 6-1, 6-1 while Gettmann was equally impressive with 6-0 sweeps.
Stumpf opens up the NWAC Championships this Sat. May 11 at 2 p.m. vs. Treasure Valley’s Kaden Giles. The two-day conference championship will be held at Wenatchee Racquet and Health Club.
