Bellevue College volleyball took home three win this weekend in the Tacoma-Pierce-Highline Tourney. A fourth match against Centralia was slated for Sat. Sept. 7 with no results posted. The event featured the three West Region teams hosting various NWAC teams from other regions.
On Friday, Bellevue topped Pierce 3-1 and Spokane 3-0 at Pierce College. No other statistical details were provided by Pierce’s sports information staff.
On Sat. Sept. 7, BC topped Tacoma 3-1 by scores of 25-16, 24-26, 25-15, 25-15. The Bulldogs were dominant at the line with 17 aces led by Jessi Mahler’s five and four by Mandi Nottingham. Mahler had 15 kills and 11 digs to lead both categories for the ‘dogs.
Bellevue is now 10-2 and will travel to Tacoma next Wed. Sept. 11 for a 7 p.m. first serve against the Titans.
