Bellevue College women’s soccer outshot visiting Edmonds 23-1 in a lopsided 8-0 win to open up NWAC North Region play. Bellevue put up four goals in each half and didn’t waste time as Malia Brown, Karly Ellis, and Tallulah Baumgart each scored goals in the first 20 minutes to give Bellevue an early cushion.
In the second half Arene Thongoulay found the back of the net off an assist by Karly Ellis nine minutes into the half. In cruise mode, BC and Edmonds went scoreless for the next 20 minutes before a pair of goals by Oteta Kitiona.
Paige Boyce recorded the shutout with ease as the Tritons got off only one shot on goal the entire game.
Bellevue is 2-1and will trael to Whatcom Wed. Sept. 18 for a 5 p.m. start.
