Bellevue College women’s soccer brought home a well-fought 3-2 win over host Skagit Valley as the ‘dogs racked up a 2-0 halftime lead to ensure the victory.
The Bulldogs jumped out 1-0 on a goal by sophomore Tallulah Baumgart off an assist by Layne Davis.
In the second half, Sarai Perdomo added two goals to put BC up 3-0 with 12:40 remaining; allowing Bellevue to be in cruise control.
Bellevue’s defensive line continued to be outstanding, as Skagit Valley was able to get off only one shot on goal on BC’s Paige Boyce.
Bellevue goes to 3-0 in league and 4-1 overall. They host Everett next Sat. Sept. 28.
