Volleyball Takes Care of Olympic

Back after a nine-day hiatus, Bellevue College volleyball swept visiting Olympic 3-0 to open up North Region play tonight at Courter Family Athletic Pavilion. The Bulldogs won with ease 25-9, 25-11, 25-16.

BC committed only three errors each in sets one and two in the blowout win as Olympic held the lead for two brief points in set two, up 2-0, before Bellevue continued their momentum led by Jessi Mahler who swung at a .353 clip and led BC with 10 kills and seven digs. Jocie Snyder had seven digs as well while Olivia Beal was strong up front with three solo blocks. The ‘dogs were errorless up front and committed only one error in serve receive all night.

Bellevue is 1-0 in league play and 16-4 overall. They travel to Skagit Valley next Wed. Oct. 2 for a big regional matchup between the two region heavyweights. Skagit Valley is currently 18-3.
