Bellevue College women’s soccer scored early and often as the Bulldogs cruised to an 8-0 win over Everett.
The ‘dogs were led by Tallulah Baumgart and Oteta Kitiona who netted five of the eight goals. Baumgart got things going just three minutes into play with an unassisted goal. Macie Masterson then scored off a feed from Emerson Winn 10:20 into the game. Baumgart then contributed on the assisting side as Galiala Abeye found the back of the goal at the 27:08 mark.
Kitiona then flashed her game of dominance in the second half scoring three consecutive goals at the 41:26, 51:52, and 60:00 marks to put BC up 7-0.
For the day, Bellevue outshot Everett 18-2 while Anya Gilberson recorded the shutout in goal saving her lone shot on goal in the first half.
Bellevue is now 4-0 in league and 5-1 overall. They remain atop the North Region in a tie for first place with Peninsula, who Bellevue will face off against this Wed. Oct. 2 in Port Angeles. The showdown is set to start at 2 p.m.
