Women’s Golf Takes Fourth

Bellevue College women’s golf moved up the ladder on day two and finished fourth overall at the season-opening NWAC League Match hosted by Columbia Basin College at Horn Rapids GC. The Bulldogs finished at +110, and just five strokes off from second place Centralia and Southwestern Oregon. Bellevue shaved 14 strokes off their day one total with Bella Jones being the biggest mover, going from a 102 on Monday to a 90 on day two.

Jaclyn Yoo, Bellevue’s sophomore transfer from Western Washington University, led BC with rounds of 84-80 and finished second overall in the individual standings in the field of 37.

Kate Sabarillo (96-94) finished tied for 16th overall while Jones finished tied for 18th to round out Bellevue’s team scoring.

Bellevue will tee off in two weeks at the Highline Invite at Oakbrook GC in Lakewood, WA on Oct. 14.
