The near perfect mark gave Pierce a 95% free throw percentage.

Bellevue remained close, down just 33-29 with 2:36 remaining in the first half after a bucket by Isaiah White, the Raiders’ Hanamichi Matsuzaki nailed a three pointer to put Pierce up 36-29, preventing any additional late first half comeback by Bellevue. For the half, 22 of BC’s 30 shots were from long range.

In the second half, BC nearly matched that number shooting 21 of 30 from three point range. Unfortunately the shot percentage did not improve significantly. Bellevue went nearly scoreless for two minutes with Pierce up 63-52 with 9:24 remaining. The ‘dogs could not break the double digit deficit for the remainder of the game. White ha 19 points and seven rebounds; both team highs. He was also three-for-five from three point range as the lone Bulldog who was hot from behind the three point line.
