
Bellevue College men’s golf came from two strokes behind Columbia Basin to win the NWAC League Match hosted by Spokane at Latah Creek GC. BC finished at +13 in the final regular season conference match, five strokes better than runner-up Spokane. Matthew Davidson led the charge for the Bulldogs shooting two under par. After an opening Saturday round of three over, Davidson finished on top of the individual leaderboard at +1 for the tourney with a surge late in his second round with six birdies on his final eight holes. He won medalist honors over Spokane’s Curtis Seidel, who also matched Davidson’s round two low round of one under par 71. Saum Saubetian and Isaac Elaimy each shot one over par to aid in Bellevue’s strong finish. Saubetian finished the tourney at +3, just two strokes shy of Davidson.
The Buldogs claimed the regular season title with the win, and will now prepare for the NWAC Championships which will be held on May 18-19 at Apple Tree GC in Yakima.
