Bellevue College women’s golf took third place, falling ten strokes short of champion Columbia Basin at the NWAC Championships held May 18-19 at Apple Tree GC in Yakima, WA. Although the ‘dogs made up two strokes on day two, the deficit after day one was too great to overcome.
Jaclyn Yoo finished second overall in the individual scoring shooting a 77 on day two, but could not catch medalist Jayda Thomas of Centralia, who shot an even par 72 in the final round.
Kate Sabarillo shot 102-80 while Bella Jones shot rounds of 89-95 to round out BC’s team scoring.
