Women’s Golf Finish Runner Up

Bellevue College women’s golf finished second at the Pacific Lutheran Invite held at the Home Course in DuPont, WA. The Bulldogs lost the tie for the lead they had heading into the second day, finishing 16 strokes behind the University of Puget Sound.

Freshman Hadley McDonough was the low individual both on day two and overall, firing a 77 to win individual medalist honors in her first collegiate tournament. McDonough headed into day two down by five strokes and ended up winning by six strokes. Teammate Ava Guthrie finished tied for fifth overall with rounds of 87-87. Kari Peterson had rounds of 89-91 while Kennedy Kimball shot 92-99 to round out Bellevue’s scoring.

The Bulldogs will head to Gleneden Beach, OR for the Corban University Invitational held at Salishan Golf Links this Sat.-Sun. Oct. 4-5.
